From humble beginnings on Loudoun Rd way back in 1958, Dalby Engine Rebuilders has become the respected name in the engine reconditioning, general engineering and the spare parts industry. Two young men, Lindsay Sturgess and Brian Meyers started the business with a vision for the future, a small amount of capital and the will to work. After gaining experience in their respective fields in Toowoomba, they built their own workshop in Dalby. They installed some machinery, invested a little over $2000 in stock, and commenced trading as Dalby Engine Rebuilders.

Right from the start, they offered complete engine rebuilding services and carried stocks of pistons, rings, bearings and engine gaskets. Before long, it became evident that their judgement was well founded with a strong demand for the services they were offering farmers and the automotive industry. With a comprehensive parts network through the Spare Parts division, our customer now enjoys the complete solution to their industrial and automotive engine reconditioning needs.
